I am not sure if it is a Pilot or a drivers licence you need to captain this 20 th Anniversary edition 2013 Shelby GT500 SVT. This thing is insanely fast!
The Shelby presentation reads that the car takes only 3.5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 MPH and has a top speed of “200 MPH plus” 3.5 seconds for 0-60 means the car is 2 tenths of a second faster than a Porsche 911 Carrera S from that generation.
It’s a visceral feeling to say the least, driving this 5.8 Litre 32 valve supercharged V8 monster.
The 2013 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 is the last car that Caroll Shelby himself was involved with.
In my opinion there is not such a thing as an overpowered car, but I must admit this could be it.
Even for someone that is used to drive powerful sportscars it is downright scary how the 662 Horses propeller this GT500 forward.
The supercharger pumps so much more air through the engine then the model before that it has given this generation about a 112 horsepower more!

To bring that power to the rear wheels a six-speed transmission from “Tremec” (model TR6060) was used. And this TR6060 is smooth as they come.
Our extremely well maintained , low mileage GT500 comes with the optional SVT Performance package.
The package includes a Torsen limited-slip differential to enhance rear traction. It also offers extra cooling for the engine, transmission, and differential. Additionally, it
features SVT-designed Bilstein electronic damping, allowing for easy selection between Normal and Sport modes via push-button controls. Furthermore, Launch Control is seamlessly integrated with both the engine control and traction control systems to enhance off-the-line starting performance.
The exuberant exterior is recognizable anywhere and you got to love it! The distinctive front grille, the bold front splitter, the rear decklid spoiler, the quad exhaust system, and the forged aluminium alloy wheels all add to the impressive looks but also have important function. Our SVT 20 th anniversary edition comes with a performance white exterior finished with
the “Le Mans” top stripes and GT500 striping on the sides. The exhaust system makes sure you enjoy the thunderous V8 sound.
To finish off the beautiful but somewhat aggressive exterior the prominently placed iconic Shelby, Cobra and GT500 badges make sure you are looking at an exceptional car. The
convertible roof is as good as new and closes firmly.
Inside you are welcomed by the original, well preserved, black leather “Recaro” racing seats. Machined metal trim adds a touch of luxury to the dash. Our Ford Shelby Mustang GT 500 SVT Anniversary edition has just received a large service including new brakes all around. The former owner liked to take the sure for the unsure and has several parts ready coming with the car such as another full brake set.

In short, the Shelby GT500 SVT 20 th Anniversary edition is everything you hope an over-the-top American Muscle car will be. And if you look at the performance potential this 500GT is just a bargain.
