ABOUT THIS CLASSIC

Stunning 1958 Mercedes 190SL Roadster. After the car was imported out of Oregon USA to the EU in 2012 the car was “body off” restored. The car was taken back to its factory specifications with unmitigated attention to detail and authenticity. We are talking; proper plating techniques, colour selections, material replacements and proper reproduction of 190SL factory original parts. The engine was fitted with its original Solex carburettors.
Of course, this Mercedes 190SL Convertible is matching numbers. To make life easier with this timeless classic an electronic ignition was fitted.
The option list of this 190 shows a Hirschmann electronic antenna and a Becker Europa radio.
The restoration was finished in 2015 after which the car disappeared in a Dutch private collection. Hardly ever driven the car resurfaced now and after a thorough service is offered for sale.
This wonderful roadster is a sound investment and a wonderful addition to any serious collection.
